We here at 4WEnt are happy to announce our new line of releases and the re-release of some of our best selling albums that are once again available for order. 4WEnt has consistently brought quality and highly demanded Native urban music to the southwest and through out the greater United States and Canada for over 7 years. 4Went and the artist we work have been working constantly to uplift Native youth through inspiring and reaching out to those in need. These artists have offered their time to schools and youth conferences to share their struggles and personal stories of perseverance to reach their educational, musical and business goals and stories of hope that "anything is possible". In doing this much needed work in Native communities 4WEnt has built an official partnership with a substance abuse and violence prevention organization called Peace & Balance, which is part of the non-profit organization called the Native Movement based in Flagstaff, AZ. www.nativemovement.org Through this partnership all proceeds genereated from cd's sales go directly to Peace & Balance in an effort to help prevent many of the self destructive behaviors many of of us have lived personally also. 4WENT is a independent record label that has released all of Yaiva's albums including Straight Heat, Limited Edition, For The People - EP and The Fire Starter compilation, also DJ Young Native's Summer 05 Mixtape, and co-sponsored 2005 NAMMY winner JayNez's 1st album, "My Family", plus Co-executive produced the Winter Solstice - Save The Peaks Compilation. Along with album release 4WENT promotes shows and has a long list of artists they have worked with including Too Short, Bone Thugs & Harmony, Twista, Brown Boy and Mack 10 to name a few. 4WENT is also the home to YAIVA, the Dineh/Hopi emcee from the southwest. Other artists coming out on 4WENT in the coming month are Orion, B.A.H.E, Bigg Trub and a all star revolutionary mixtape that will be coming very soon. |
